Joshua Heyliger

Biography

After serving as the Director of Operations for three years, Joshua Heyliger was promoted to Assistant Coach in May of 2022. He is entering his sixth season as a member of the staff. Heyliger, who joined Bob McKillop's staff in August of 2019 as the Director of Operations, has helped guide the Wildcats to a 104-79 overall mark, 51-50 record in conference play and two postseason appearances (2021 NIT, 2022 NCAA Tournament). In 2021-22, Davidson finished an impressive 27-7 and captured the Atlantic 10 Conference regular season title with a program-record 15 wins, while earning its second NCAA at-large selection in school history. Before coming to Davidson, Heyliger was a graduate assistant coach at Dartmouth, where he performed a myriad of tasks, including helping with player development, game preparation and scouting, breaking down video and assisting with logistical issues.
