Jack Gibbs

Biography

Jack Gibbs, one of the most decorated players in program history, returned to Davidson College as the Director of Student-Athlete Development the Summer of 2021. He is entering his fifth season as a member of the staff. Gibbs, a four-time all-conference performer (3 – Atlantic 10 / 1 – SoCon), finished his standout career with 2,036 points, which ranks fourth all-time behind Stephen Curry, John Gerdy and former teammate Peyton Aldridge. In addition to averaging a combined 22.7 points per game his final two seasons, Gibbs' name is scattered throughout the Davidson record book, ranking among the leaders in career scoring average, 3-pointers made, assists and steals. He helped the 'Cats to an 98-65 overall record, 53-35 conference mark and the program's first-ever at-large selection to the NCAA Tournament following their 2015 Atlantic 10 Regular Season title.
