Adcock At A Glance: 763-413-1 career record in 22 seasons Most coaching wins in program history Eight conference titles in 18 seasons 15 postseason berths in 16 eligible seasons 31 players selected in MLB Draft Five-time conference coach of the year Assistant coach at UCLA and Purdue Gary Adcock was named the CBU baseball head coach in 2004 and has since become the most successful and longest tenured coach CBU baseball has ever had. In 22 remarkable seasons, Adcock turned CBU into a perennial conference champion while at the same time putting the Lancers on the national map. His career mark of 763-413-1 is the best in program history, and he has led the Lancers to eight conference championships (two WAC, three PacWest, three GSAC), two NCCAA World Series championships, an NAIA National Championship Opening Round title and five conference coach of the year (three GSAC and two PacWest) honors. He has posted 18 30-win seasons and seven 40-win seasons, and from 2004-08, he guided the Lancers to five straight postseason berths for the first time in program history. He built on that feat, leading the team to nine-straight playoff berths from 2010 to 2018. During his first season eligible for postseason in Division I, Adcock secured the first ever postseason berth to the WAC Tournament in 2023 and did so again during the 2024 season after leading his team to a WAC Tournament Championship appearance. All told, he has made the postseason 18 of 18 opportunities with Adcock at the helm,

Mike Mobbs has spent 12 years in collegiate coaching including 4 seasons in the Cape Cod League, 4 years at Felician University, 4 years at NYU, and also 4 years coaching at Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey. Mobbs returned to the Wareham Gatemen for a fourth season as Hitting Coach/3B Coach in 2025, having coached in Wareham in 2018 and 2023-24. The 2018 championship team was crowned the #1 Collegiate Summer Team in the country and would lead the league in runs scored. In the 2019 MLB Draft, 34 Wareham players were selected, including 1st round picks Andrew Vaughn and Bryson Stott. In the 2024 Cape Cod season, Wareham’s offense led the league in OPS, slugging, doubles and triples. In the 2025 summer season, Wareham's offense once again led the Cape League in OPS, slugging, doubles and triples, and the team also led the Cape league in runs scored & home runs. In the 2025 MLB Draft, five hitters coached by Mobbs would be selected in the first 102 picks (Brendan Summerhill, Murf Gray, Nick Becker from Don Bosco Prep, Max Williams and Antonio Jimenez). In total, nine former players would be drafted and signed in the ‘25 draft, and Mobbs has coached over 70 players total who have gone on to sign professional contracts, with 15 reaching the MLB. Mobbs spent 2022-2025 coaching at his alma mater Don Bosco Prep where they have won the NJ State Championship and ranked top 50 nationally in 2022, 2023 & 2025. The 2022 state title team was led by current MLB pitcher Caden Dana of the LA Angel
