Hallock became the 11th head coach in program history on July 24,2020. Over his first five seasons as the coach of the Falcons, BGSU posted a combined record of 124-136, being 88-80 in conference play. In 2024, Hallock led the Falcons to a MAC Regular Season title and was named MAC Coach of the Year. Hallock, who was hired by 30-year head coach Danny Schmitz in September of 2018, served as BGSU's pitching coach prior to his promotion. During his fifth season with the Falcons in 2025, Hallock and the Falcons put together another historic campaign. As a team, BGSU broke the program record for strikeouts in a season for the second straight year with 431 while also setting the record of innings pitched with 480.1 as well as fielding putouts with 1,441.
