Assistant Coach/Director of Player Development
Jahari Smith was announced as assistant coach/director of player development on April 21, 2026. "I'm really excited to be here at Boston College," said Smith. "It's such a prestigious university with a strong tradition, and from the moment I got here, the community has been nothing but welcoming and supportive. I'm also really looking forward to working with Coach Pop and continuing to build something great here. There's a lot of energy around this program, and I'm just grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it and get to work!" Smith makes the move to the Heights after three seasons with Bradley Braves women's basketball, where the program showed steady growth each year, culminating in a 20-win season last year. During her time with the Braves, Smith worked as the director of player development, playing a key role in scouting, film breakdown, player development, and the program's day-to-day operations. During that stretch, Bradley produced multiple All-Missouri Valley Conference selections, along with the program's first-ever MVC Newcomer of the Year. The team also made its mark defensively, leading the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring defense by allowing just 64.2 points per game. Opponents were held to 26.9% shooting from three-point range, a figure that ranked among the top 20 nationally. Offensively, the Braves led the conference in three-point shooting at 34.6% and averaged eight made threes per game, second-best in the league. They also finished second in th

Cobb comes to the Heights after two seasons with Bradley, where the program totaled 37 wins, including a 20-win campaign last year. In his first season, Bradley produced two All-Missouri Valley Conference selections and the league’s Newcomer of the Year. The Braves were known for their defense, finishing atop the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring defense at 64.2 points allowed per game. They also led the conference in three-point defense, holding opponents to 26.9% from beyond the arc, a mark that ranked among the top 20 nationally. On the offensive end, Bradley shot a league-best 34.6% from three while averaging eight made threes per game, second in the conference. The team also ranked second in the MVC in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.06). Before Bradley, Cobb spent two seasons as an assistant with Loyola Maryland men's basketball under Taravas Hardy, a former mentor from his playing days. Following his professional career, Cobb coached with the Atlanta Xpress AAU program near his hometown of Decatur, Georgia. He also returned to Northwestern Wildcats men's basketball as director of player development, contributing to scouting, game preparation, player development, and academic support. Cobb earned his degree in African-American Studies from Northwestern University in 2015. As a player, he competed professionally in the NBA G League with the Canton Charge and in Canada with the Halifax Hurricanes.

Assistant Coach
Ollie Goss was announced as an assistant coach on April 13, 2021. "I'm thankful for the opportunity to work at an incredible institution for higher learning in Boston College," said Goss. "The buzz around BC athletics is exciting, and I'm looking forward to continuing working with Coach Pop, one of the best culture builders in women's basketball." Goss arrives at The Heights after spending four seasons at Bradley, playing a pivotal role in the Braves' rise from four wins in his first season to 20 victories in 2025-26. The Braves finished with the best defense last season in the Missouri Valley Conference, limiting opponents to just 64.2 points per game and the top 3-point defense in the MVC, allowing foes to shoot 26.9 percent from deep, which ranked 16th nationally. Bradley also shot a conference-best 34.6 percent from 3-point land, and made eight 3-pointers per game - good for second in the league. The Braves were also second in the MVC with a 1.06 assist/turnover ratio. Bradley saw multiple all-conference selections and the program's first MVC Newcomer of the Year. Prior to Bradley, Goss spent six seasons at Northwestern, contributing to a combined 124–64 record (.660) across the men's and women's programs. During that span, Northwestern made two NCAA Tournament appearances, finished as WNIT runner-up, and captured a Big Ten regular-season title.
