Kin Yun has been a staple with the Eagles program over the past two decades. He is currently the longest tenured coach at Boston College and has worked under three different head coaches over the past 20 seasons. Previously the volunteer assistant, Kin was deservedly moved into the role of assistant coach in the summer of 2021. Yun was a vital part of the team’s NIVC championship run in 2022 as the main defensive coordinator for the Eagles. Throughout his time on the Heights Yun has mentored various All-ACC and All-Big East conference players. This past season in 2022 he helped middle blocker’s Kate Brennan finish in the top 5 in hitting percentage in the ACC and Julia Haggerty finish in the top 5 in total blocks in the conference.

Perry is in his third season as an assistant coach for the Eagles. Last season (2024) Perry helped guide the Eagles to a 19-13, 8-10 ACC year, opening the season with a 7-0 home record. Julia Haggerty led the ACC and the nation last year with 223 total blocks, becoming the all-time NCAA leader in blocks per set in a single season. Perry joined the coaching staff in the summer of 2022 as volunteer assistant coach and was elevated to the role of assistant coach one year later in the summer of 2023. Perry was integral to the teams’ success in 2022 ending in the Eagles first-ever post-season championship in the NIVC. Throughout the season Perry was responsible for opponent scouting and video analysis in addition to his coaching duties on the court. In the midst of the historic season, Perry was named a recipient of the 2022 Coaches 4 Coaches scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to a group of young college coaches from around the country and gives them the opportunity to attend the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Convention to network and learn from coaches from across the country. Perry coached at Bay to Bay volleyball club in Northern California for multiple summers. He notably assisted a national runner-up team in the open division of junior nationals. In the summer of 2022 was named head coach of a 14U team for Bay to Bay. Perry played his entire club career with Bay to Bay, under Matt and Arielle Houlihan.
