Head Cross Country Coach // Assistant Track & Field Coach - Middle/Long Distance
Kevin Rengo enters his fifth season as an assistant track & field coach since joining the program in the fall of 2017. With the track & field program, he oversees the jumps, hurdles and multi events. Rengo was named the head coach for cross country on July 27, 2022. He holds a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from Wisconsin-River Falls (2011) and a Masters of Education in Applied Kinesiology from University of Minnesota (2014). As a student-athlete, he was a three-year captain in track & field at UW-River Falls, qualified for the WIAC Championships in the pentathlon, decathlon and javelin, and was a 2011 WIAC Scholar-Athlete nominee. He won the 2010 Earl Blodgett Award and lettered in both cross country and track & field for four years.
