Biography

Nick Back came to Cullowhee in 2025, joining the Catamount football offensive staff as a quality control coach working with the tight ends. In the spring of 2026, Back assumed the Assistant Offensive Line position as a QC coach. Back joined the Catamounts after a successful collegiate career at the Cumberlands (Ky.) in the NAIA ranks. He was a part of an offensive line that in 2024 totaled 29 touchdowns averaging 311 yards per game while allowing just 15 sacks as a unit. Back appeared in 30+ games during his collegiate playing time. He graduated from the Cumberlands (Ky.) in 2025 with a degree in Fitness & Sports Management with a focus in coaching.
