Keion Robinson

Biography

Keion Robinson joined the Demon Deacons' athletic communications office in January 2022, taking on the role of Assistant Director. He currently serves as the primary media contact for women's volleyball while acting as a secondary contact for men's basketball and holding oversight responsibility for women's tennis. Robinson entered his second year as a graduate assistant for the athletic communications team at Western Illinois University during the 2021-22 school year. From August 2021 to December 2021, he held media responsibilities for football, volleyball, women's basketball and baseball. Additionally, he assisted with game operations and helped supervise first-year graduate assistants in the communications and marketing offices. In his first year at Western during 2020-21, Robinson acted as the primary contact for the university's volleyball, softball, and golf programs. Robinson joined the Leathernecks following a stint as an athletic communications assistant at the University of Richmond during the 2019-20 school year. He mainly assisted with editing graphics and videos, photography, game recaps, tracking statistics, and live broadcasting coverage for most of the Spiders' sports programs. Prior to his experience at Richmond, Robinson worked as a high school basketball scouting journalist for Phenom Hoop Report.
