Biography

Former Wisconsin standout Joe Krabbenhoft begins his 11th season coaching on the Badger bench in 2026-27. Krabbenhoft returned to the program as an assistant coach under head coach Greg Gard in April of 2016. He was promoted to associate head coach in June of 2022. As a coach at Wisconsin, Krabbenhoft helped lead the Badgers to two Big Ten regular season championships in 2020 and 2022. A player for the Badgers from 2005-09, Krabbenhoft rejoined the Badgers in a coaching role after spending three seasons (2014-16) as an assistant coach at South Dakota State. With Krabbenhoft on the bench, the Jackrabbits earned a No. 12 seed in the 2016 NCAA tournament after clinching an automatic bid by winning The Summit League Tournament.
