Head Coach

HC

Chris Feifs enters his 10th year as head coach of the University of Vermont men's lacrosse program in 2026. Feifs became the winningest coach in UVM men's lacrosse history on April 18, 2026, after a 14-10 win over UMass Lowell that marked his 76th career victory. He has led Vermont to 42 America East wins, the most by any coach in program history, and guided the Catamounts to their first two America East championships in 2021 and 2022. In 2025, the Catamounts went 5-7 despite missing many key players for large parts of the season. Vermont had six all-conference selections, while Henry Dodge earned Faceoff Specialist of the Year. Feifs spent seven years at Carolina as defensive coordinator and faceoff coach, leading the program to seven straight NCAA Tournament appearances. In addition to winning the national championship in 2016, the Tar Heels were two-time ACC regular-season co-champions and claimed the 2013 ACC title during his tenure. Prior to his time in Chapel Hill, Feifs spent two seasons as an assistant coach and offensive coordinator at Virginia Military Institute, leading VMI to its first-ever MAAC Tournament and Championship Game appearances in program history.
