Biography
Theadora (Theo) Kwas was tabbed as an assistant coach for the Oregon lacrosse program in September 2023. In 2025, Kwas helped guide the Ducks to their second consecutive winning record at home while making the transition to the Big Ten Conference. Kwas helped coach transfer Bri Carrasquillo to a career year as the graduate student led the Ducks in goals (40), points (50), free-position goals (12) – which set the program record for most in a single season – and shots (85) and finished second on the team with 10 assists. Kwas also helped guide Anna Simmons to a stellar junior campaign, as she was named the Big Ten Midfielder of the Week three times and one of only seven players nationally to score 30-plus goals, secure 21-plus ground balls and cause 15-plus turnovers during the regular season. Prior to the start of the 2025 season, Kwas suited up for the Australian national team at the Asia-Pacific Women's Lacrosse Championship, helping lead the team to a silver medal.
