Biography
Oregon head women's basketball coach Kelly Graves announced the hiring of Jerise Freeman as assitant coach and recruiting coordinator on June 26, 2024. Freeman comes to UO after two successful stops at Power 5 programs, spending three seasons as assistant coach and co-recruiting coordinator at Utah after a four-year stint at Oklahoma State as an assistant coach. Freeman helped lead the Utes to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2023. Her first season in Salt Lake saw the Utes qualify for their first NCAA Tournament since 2011, setting a single-season school record with 312 made 3-pointers in the process. While at Oklahoma State, Freeman helped guide the Cowgirls to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances (2018, 2021) while advancing to the second round both times.
