Biography
Brian Fish rejoined the Ducks staff in 2022 and has helped five different programs reach the NCAA Tournament in his three-decade career in college basketball. Fish most recently served as Director of Player Development at Georgia from 2019-22, a run highlighted by 2020 SEC Rookie of the Year Anthony Edwards being selected first overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. Prior to his time in Athens, Fish was the head coach at Montana State from 2014-19. Fish led the 2016-17 team to the programs most wins since 2002, and in 2019 coached the Bobcats to the team's first Big Sky tournament win in over a decade. From 2010-14, Fish served as an assistant coach for the Ducks, helping the team to four consecutive 20-win seasons, two NCAA appearances and a Sweet Sixteen birth in 2013. Fish was a part of two separate Altman staffs at Creighton, from 1994-96 and from 2004-09. In that span, the Bluejays advanced to postseason play on six occasions. The two also paired up at both Marshall and Kansas State.
