Sean Goldrich ’15 was named the 21st UNH football head coach on Dec. 29, 2025. As a four-year starting quarterback, Goldrich led UNH to a pair of CAA Football championships and four NCAA tournament appearances, including two national semifinals, from 2012-15. He amassed more than 7,500 yards passing and 1,100 yards rushing as well as 67 total touchdowns while helping lead the program to its best four-year win total (37) and winning percentage (69.8%) in its 130-season history. “I'm incredibly excited for the opportunity to lead this football program,” Goldrich said. “The University of New Hampshire is special to me. This place has shaped me as a player and as a person. I am beyond grateful to come back home and contribute to building championship-level football. I want to thank President Chilton, Director of Athletics Allison Rich, Coach Mac and the entire interview committee for putting their trust in me. I know how special UNH is and I'm going to give everything I have to ensure our continued success.” Goldrich, a native of West Haven, Conn., brings eight years of collegiate coaching experience to Durham. Most recently, he was the quarterbacks coach, pass game coordinator and the head recruiting coordinator at the University of Delaware in the 2025 season. Offensive Coordinator | Quarterbacks
Gage Hayes joined the University of New Hampshire as Offensive Coordinator in February 2026 and he has a proven record of player development and high-production offenses across multiple levels of college football. Hayes began his coaching career as a Graduate Assistant at Southeastern University (NAIA), spending the 2014 and 2015 seasons coaching the Fire’s defensive backs and contributing to the program’s early success. He next moved to Bryant University, where his 2016 wide receiver unit broke school records for receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns. He later helped build the startup program at Erskine College (2021), coaching Harlon Hill nominee and All-American Senika McKie, developing two Top-25 DII quarterbacks in completion percentage, and recruiting 70+ players over the first two years for the inaugural roster. At Ave Maria University (2022–24), Hayes coordinated one of the most productive offensive eras in school history, highlighted by: 2022: 33.8 PPG, 422 YPG (2nd/1st all-time), six all-conference picks, Freshman of the Year, and a Champion of Character award winner 2023: two all-conference selections, an All-American, and the Conference RB of the Year 2024: two all-conference selections Most recently, Hayes coached at Saint Anselm College, producing three all-conference selections in 2025. Offensive Line | Recruiting Coordinator
Joe Bick arrived at New Hampshire in February 2026 following multiple seasons at Saint Anselm College, where he served in several roles including Recruiting Coordinator, Offensive Line Coach, Wide Receivers & Tight Ends Coach, and Offensive Quality Control Coach. During his tenure, Saint Anselm tied the school record for wins in back-to-back seasons (2022, 2023) and achieved its highest conference finish in program history in 2023. He coached and developed eight all-conference student-athletes across the offensive line, wide receiver, and tight end positions. Prior to Saint Anselm, Bick spent three seasons at Kean University as a Graduate Assistant Coach. There, he worked with the lffensive line, tight ends and wide receivers, assisted with offensive game planning and scouting report preparation, coordinated return units, and managed video operations. He also played an active role in student-athlete academic oversight and daily football operations. A former standout offensive lineman at Kean (2014–17), Bick earned all-conference honors and multiple academic awards, including induction into Chi Alpha Sigma and membership in the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society. Bick holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Kean University and has pursued graduate studies in Communication Studies. He is a member of the American Football Coaches Association.

Cornerbacks | Defensive Pass Game Coordinator
Joe Rankin enters his first season at the University of New Hampshire in 2026 as Cornerbacks Coach and Pass Game Coordinator. A former four-year letterman and starter at Morgan State University, Rankin was a two-year team captain, multiple all-conference selection, and finished his career as the program’s second all-time leader in interceptions. Following his collegiate career, he spent time in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns, as well as in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts and Montreal Alouettes. Prior to arriving in Durham, Rankin spent three seasons (2023–25) at Central Connecticut State University as Cornerbacks Coach and co-Special Teams Coordinator. During his tenure, the Blue Devils captured back-to-back Northeast Conference championships (2024, 2025) and earned consecutive FCS playoff appearances -- the first run in program history. Rankin built and developed one of the Northeast Conference’s most disruptive cornerback and returner units, producing one All-New England honoree and four all-conference honorees in three seasons while helping lead a defense that ranked No. 1 in the NEC and No. 1 in the FCS in turnovers gained (2024) and No. 1 in the NEC and tied for top 10 nationally in interceptions. Under his direction, the perimeter unit became a driving force behind championship success and postseason play. Wide Receivers | Pass Game Coordinator
KJ Parmer enters his first season at the University of New Hampshire in 2026 as Wide Receivers Coach and Pass Game Coordinator. Prior to arriving in Durham, Parmer spent two seasons (2024-2025) at the University of Tennessee as the Assistant Wide Receivers Coach. In the 2024 season, Dont’e Thornton averaged 25.4 yards per catch, which led FBS, and was selected in the fourth round of the NFL draft by the Las Vegas Raiders. In 2025, the Volunteers had the most productive wide receiver trio in the SEC. Chris Brazzell II, Braylon Staley, and Mike Matthews all recorded over 800 yards receiving, with Brazzell and Staley earning post-season accolades. Brazzell received First Team All-SEC, as well as All-America Third Team honors. Brazzell was also named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, recognizing the nation’s top receiver. Staley was named the SEC Freshman of the Year by both the coaches and the Associated Press. Prior to Knoxville, Parmer spent one season in Boone, N.C. at Appalachian State University as the Assistant Wide Receivers Coach. That season, the team finished the season 9-5, capped off with a victory in the Cure Bowl. Parmer began his coaching career at his alma mater, the University of West Georgia as the Wide Receivers coach. During that time, West Georgia produced multiple all-conference wide receivers, as well as All-American Mechane Slade, who set the UWG single-season reception record. Nick Hunter joined the UNH football coaching staff as a nickels coach in February 2026. He joined the Delaware coaching staff in February 2022 as an defensive analyst. He was promoted to senior defensive analyst prior to the 2024 season. During the 2022 season, Hunter worked with the defensive line before moving to the safeties ahead of the 2023 campaign. Prior to the 2025 season, Hunter worked with the linebackers. During Hunter's time in Delaware, he produced four all-conference players -- S Ty Davis, DL Artis Hemmingway, DL Chase McGowan, and S KT Seay. Hunter went to Newark after spendin two seasons as a graduate assistant at Austin Peay, where he worked with the defensive line. He was the defensive signal caller for a Governors’ defense that led the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) in scoring defense (24.9 ppg) and ranked second in sacks (18), while boasting OVC Defensive Player of the Year in Koby Perry. Prior to Austin Peay, Hunter spent the 2020 spring on the staff at his alma mater Christopher Newport, where he served as the safeties coach. A wide receiver at Christopher Newport, he caught 33 passes for 428 yards and completed all six of his pass attempts for four touchdowns during his career. A Yorktown, Virginia native, Hunter graduated from CNU with a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a focus in cellular molecular and physiology in 2020.

Associate Head Coach | Linebackers | Defensive Run Game Coordinator
Tyshon Fogg is in his first season as the University of New Hampshire’s linebackers coach and run game coordinator in 2026. A former standout linebacker at Rutgers University, Fogg brings firsthand Big Ten playing experience, recent Power Five coaching pedigree, and a proven work ethic to the Wildcats’ defensive staff. As a player at Rutgers from 2017–2021, Fogg was a team captain, 4x Academic All-Big Ten, two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten linebacker, and earned All-ECAC defensive honors. He finished his collegiate career with 293 tackles, 16.0 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble over 30 career starts.
