Head Men's Lacrosse Coach
Charlie Burch is in his 14th season as UNE Head Coach (2026) and has led the Nor'easters to a 98-109 record over 13 years. In both 2013 and 2017, he guided the squad to a program-record 14 wins (14-5) and received the Commonwealth Coast Conference Coach of the Year honor. The 2013 campaign culminated with the Nor'easters claiming the ECAC New England Championship. Burch served as assistant coach and defensive coordinator for four years before taking over, following 24 seasons as head coach at Cape Elizabeth High School and Kennebunk High School (12 each), where his teams amassed a record of 289-102-1 and captured nine Maine State Class A Championships. He is a six-time Maine Coach of the Year and earned the 2009 U.S. Lacrosse Man of the Year distinction. He spent a year each as assistant coach at Bates College and Colby College, where he played four seasons as a captain and earned a bachelor's degree in history (1977). He later earned a master's degree in American and New England studies from the University of Southern Maine (1995). His two stepsons lead NCAA Division I programs: Nick at Ohio State since 2008, and Pat at Lafayette College since 2018.

Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach
Gray came to UNE after serving as the head coach at Thomas College [NCAA III] from 2016-22, and at Husson University [NCAA III] in 2014-15. Before that, he was a two-year assistant at the University of Southern Maine [NCAA III] from 2012-13. Gray started coaching in the high school ranks, leading Cheverus High School, Tilton School (N.H.), and Thornton Academy for a combined 12 seasons, during which he compiled over 100 head coaching wins and guided four championship teams. Gray played two seasons (1998-99) of lacrosse at Plymouth State University [NCAA III], where he was a two-way midfielder and faceoff specialist. As a sophomore in 1999, he was honorable mention all-conference. He then transferred to the University of Maine [NCAA I] and competed in track & field, where he excelled in the 100-meter dash and javelin throw. Gray earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education in 2002.

Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach
McMahon assisted the Nor'easters for one season in 2015, and was an assistant coach of boys lacrosse at St. Mary's School in Massachusetts in 2014. McMahon played four seasons at UNE (2010-2013), appearing in all 74 contests and making 71 starts with the defensive unit. Over his career, he totaled one goal, 207 ground balls, and 154 caused turnovers against just 34 turnovers. McMahon, who was a two-time All-CCC honorable mention pick, finished 3rd in Division III for caused turnovers as a senior with 3.58/game. He graduated in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in applied exercise science.

Associate Head Men's Lacrosse Coach
Neugebauer was elevated to UNE's associate head coach ahead of the 2026 season. Neugebauer played 39 games over four seasons (2012-15) at Castleton University [NCAA III], and was part of two conference championship teams and subsequent trips to the NCAA tournament.
