Biography

Jalyn Gramstad is in his first season on the Nebraska staff in 2026, serving as a graduate assistant/offense. Gramstad joined the staff after playing quarterback for Nebraska in 2024 and 2025. He played in four games and completed 6-of-8 passes for 27 yards while rushing for two yards. Prior to Nebraska, Gramstad spent four years at Northwestern Collge in Iowa. He led the Raiders to the NAIA national championship in 2022 and a runner-up finish in 2023. At Northwestern, Gramstad completed 438-of-647 passes (68 percent) for 6,237 yards and 60 touchdowns. He added 1,822 rushing yards with 31 touchdowns. In 2023, Gramstad was the NAIA Player of the Year, the GPAC Player of the Year and a first-team All-American.
