Biography

Austin Grigsby is entering his second season on staff as a graduate assistant and his sixth year overall working for Mizzou Baseball. In his current position, Grigsby works closely with Director of Recruiting and Operations, Jose Carballo, assisting with operations and the development of Mizzou catchers. Before being elevated to graduate assistant, Grigsby spent four years as a student manager for Mizzou Baseball, catching bullpens and shadowing Carballo in his final season as a manager. Grigsby earned his bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation with a sport and tourism emphasis (sport management) from Mizzou in 2024. He recently completed his master's degree in M. Ed. Positive Coaching and Athletic Leadership in 2026. A native of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Grigsby graduated from Lee's Summit West High School in 2020.
