Biography

Jake Larson joined the Minnesota coaching staff as the Director of Player Personnel in the summer of 2025, shortly after graduating from the university. Larson spent his collegiate baseball career playing for the Gophers from 2022-25. On the field, the maroon and gold infielder collected 60 hits in 300 career at bats, including 40 RBI's and six home runs. On defense, Larson tallied a .910 career fielding percentage with 95 outs and 159 assists over 279 total chances. In the classroom, the Covington, Washington native was named to the Academic All Big Ten list three times throughout his career (2023, 2024, 2025) and was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar athlete in his senior year.
