Biography

Cole Caruso enters his first season as the team's hitting and infield development assistant after finishing his collegiate playing career in the 2025 season. After his sophomore season, Caruso transferred to Michigan and started 114 games over two seasons. In his senior season, Caruso slashed .284/.360/.512 with 23 extra base hits and 11 home runs ranking fourth among qualified batters in batting average and OPS. He was chosen by the coaches as the team's sportsmanship award winner and also served as a captain. Caruso started his career at USC Upstate where he played in 99 games making 91 starts highlighted by a strong sophomore season where he hit .319 with 15 doubles and 45 runs. He hails from Scottsdale, Arizona and attended Cactus Shadows High School where he earned First Team All-Region Honors and Second Team All-State honors.
