In December 2025, Bell was promoted to Wide Receivers Coach in December 2025 ahead of the Kinder's Texas Bowl. The 2026 season will be his third with the program and first as position coach. Bell joined Houston after two seasons as Baylor’s Quality Control Coach for Defensive Analysis. • Bell was promoted to Wide Receivers coach ahead of the Cougars Texas Bowl appearance against LSU where he served as the Wide Receivers coach and as the assistant to himself while also serving as the signaler from the sideline. • In Houston’s Texas Bowl win over LSU, eight different Cougars caught passes for 230 total receiving yards while star receiver Amare Thomas caught a pair of touchdown passes. • Bell helped tutor Thomas in his first season in Scarlet and White becoming the first Houston receiver with 10+ touchdown receptions since 202
