Women's Tennis Head Coach
Paul Wardlaw enters his fourth season as head coach for the DU women's tennis team in 2024-25. He has won numerous coaching honors including 2023 ITA Mountain Regional Coach of the Year, four-time Summit League Coach of the Year (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025), 2009 ITA East Regional Coach of the Year at Brown University, 2000 ITA DIII Women's Coach of the Decade at Kenyon College, and 1993 ITA DIII National Coach of the Year at Kenyon College. Under his leadership, Denver has won multiple consecutive Summit League titles and made numerous NCAA tournament appearances. Prior to Denver, he coached at Brown University (2004-18), University of Iowa (1997-2004), and Kenyon College (1989-97) where he won three NCAA DIII National Championships. He holds a Bachelor's degree from College of Wooster and Master's degree in philosophy from University of Illinois Chicago.

Assistant Coach
Kim Gidley enters her first season as Denver assistant coach in 2024-25. As part of her role at DU, she will help lead the team's recruiting and player development efforts. Two-Time USPTA National College Coach of the Year (2016, 2020), Five-Time USPTA Intermountain College Coach of the Year (2012, 2020), Wilson/ITA Coach of the Year (Mountain Region), 2018-19 Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year, National USTA/ITA Community Outreach Award, USTA Clyde Rogers Award (Intermountain Section). Previously served as Head Coach at Air Force Academy (1998-2023) where she led Falcons to Mountain West Conference west division co-championship in 2018-19 (first-ever MWC title by an Air Force women's program) and achieved first-ever national ranking for a women's team at a service academy (No. 44 in 2020). Coached 19 all-conference singles players and 16 all-conference doubles players, finished with 350-292 dual-match record across 25 seasons.

Maureen Kechriotis enters her first season as Denver assistant coach in 2024-25. As part of her role at DU, she will help lead the team's development/community outreach efforts. Prior to Denver, she served as Head Coach (Boys' and Girls' Tennis) at Denver South High School (2018-24), leading boys' team to back-to-back 4A league titles (2021, 2022), its first since 1963, and coached girls' team to three consecutive 4A league final appearances (2022-24). She is also Owner of Smash Tennis, LLC (2022-pres.), promoting sport of tennis as beneficial to children's physical and mental well-being, running summer programs with Denver Public Schools, DU and more than 200 tennis camps. She previously served as Director of Tennis for Tennis for Kids (2017-22), leading tennis clinics in underserved communities and helping grow participation by 45 percent. She holds a Bachelor's degree in communication and media studies from Colorado-Boulder.
