Nate Georgeton

Biography

Nate Georgeton enters his fourth season as an assistant coach with the UCLA men’s basketball program in 2026-27, marking his eighth year on the Bruins’ staff. Georgeton joined UCLA’s program in the summer of 2019 and was elevated to the role of assistant coach in the summer of 2023. Over the past three seasons as an assistant coach, Georgeton has helped lead UCLA to a 63-40 overall record. In 2025-26, UCLA finished in a tie for sixth place out of 18 teams in the Big Ten. In 2024-25, UCLA finished in a tie for fourth place in league play. Through each of the past two seasons, the Bruins have advanced into the second round of the NCAA Tournament as a No. 7 seed. UCLA compiled a 24-12 record in 2025-26 and a 23-11 mark in 2024-25, posting a 13-7 record in Big Ten play each season. UCLA led its conference, in the Pac-12 in 2023-24 and the Big Ten in 2024-25, in scoring defense in back-to-back seasons. The Bruins held the opposition to an average of 65.2 points per game in 2024-25. Georgeton, who graduated from the University of Cincinnati, served as the Bruins’ video coordinator and the Director of Student-Athlete Development during his first four seasons at UCLA.
