Margo Dionisio

Biography

Margo Dionisio was named the third head coach in UC Irvine program history on August 8, 2022. In just her third season at UCI, Dionisio led the Anteaters to two tournament titles and a school record 11-under 853 (283-286-284) at the Wolverine Invitational at the Talon Coves Golf Course. Dionisio came to UCI after serving as an assistant coach at Santa Clara. She was an assistant coach at Cal State Fullerton for five years and held head coaching duties for the Titans in the Fall of 2022. While at Cal State Fullerton, she helped the Titans to three tournament titles and coached four All-Big West honorees, including 2020-21 Big West Women's Golf Player of the Year Brittany Shin. Dionisio was a two-time All-Big West honoree at CSUN, serving as team captain her last two years. She recorded 10 top-10 finishes in her career, taking home medalist honors at the Lady Cougar Invitational in 2013. She graduated from CSUN in 2013 with a B.S. in Public Health Promotions then went on to play professionally from 2013-15 on the Cactus, Grasshopper and NWGA Tours.
