Biography

A former Olympian Catie DeLoof joined the coaching staff in August of 2024. "Catie is an exceptional addition to our coaching staff," Geer said. "Her extensive experience in high-level competition, combined with her dedication and enthusiasm will undoubtedly make a positive impact on our program. Catie's passion for teaching the sport and developing skill and character has been evident from the beginning of this process. She is a great fit for this role, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Tide!" DeLoof is an Olympic bronze medalist after helping Team USA's 4x100m freestyle relay team advance to the final before ultimately securing a third-place finish at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The 14-time All-American with Michigan continued her professional career as a member of the International Swimming League.
