Adam Bauman enters his seventh season at the University of Alabama and is in his fourth season as the program's director of scouting and analytics. Bauman has been a part of Coach Oats' staff throughout his entire tenure at Alabama in addition to four years at Buffalo. In his current role, Bauman is responsible for a variety of aspects of the men's basketball program including but not limited to, overseeing the budget, scheduling, analytics, camps, advanced scouting of opponents, along with assisting the coaching staff on the offensive side of the ball. Bauman also spearheads "Bamalytics" in-game and during each practice to further break down the team's performances in every aspect of the game. Throughout Bauman's time in Tuscaloosa, the Crimson Tide have won 145 games, along with a pair of Elite Eight appearances and the program's first-ever trip to the Final Four in 2024. Special Assistant to Head Basketball Coach
Erwin Dudley enters his first season as special assistant to the head coach after being hired in July of 2025. Dudley joined the staff in 2023 as a graduate assistant helping the Crimson Tide reached the program's first-ever Final Four (2024) and reached back-to-back Elite Eights in 2024 and 2025. Prior to his current role, Dudley served as a graduate assistant for the Crimson Tide from 2023-25 where the Tide won 53 games while appearing in back-to-back Elite Eights and the program's first-ever trip to the Final Four (2024). Dudley played professionally for 14 seasons in Israel and Turkey, winning the EuroChallenge and the Turkish League in 2012 with Besiktas Milangaz and was named the FIBA EuroCup All-Star Game MVP in 2007 for Türk Telekom. He played at Alabama from 1999-2003 and was named an SEC Basketball Legend in 2019. An Associated Press Third Team All-America honoree in 2002 while leading Alabama to an SEC Western Division title, Dudley was a three-time All-SEC selection throughout his career, ranks fourth on Alabama's all-time rebounding list (1,184 rebounds) and ninth on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,775 career points. He led Alabama to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances in 2001 and 2002.

Barrera comes to Tuscaloosa after spending seven years with Liberty University, serving as the Flames' men's basketball director of performance from 2015-18 before being promoted to director of strength and conditioning for Olympic sports. During his tenure at Liberty, the Flames achieved a combined 166 victories (166-61) over seven seasons, averaging 23.7 wins per season with a .731 winning percentage. Liberty won three consecutive ASUN regular season and tournament championships (2019, 2020, 2021) and made five postseason appearances including three NCAA Tournament berths, highlighted by the 2019-20 season when Liberty notched a school-record 30 victories and recorded their first-ever NCAA Tournament win. Before Liberty, Barrera was a performance training specialist at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. As a basketball player, Barrera began his college career at Yakima Valley Community College before transferring to Multnomah University where he was a three-time All-American and named the 2000 NCCAA Pete Maravich National Player of the Year. He played one season professionally in Sweden before coaching and training. Josh Pierre begins his fourth season as director of basketball operations at the University of Alabama as Nate Oats hired Pierre in November of 2022. Pierre comes from a basketball family with deep roots in the sport. His father, Butch Pierre, possesses more than three decades of college basketball coaching experience with stops at LSU (2006 Final Four), Oklahoma State, NC State, UNC Charlotte, Memphis, UTEP, Wichita State and Louisiana Lafayette, and started at point guard at Mississippi State. His twin brother, Joe Pierre, is currently an assistant coach at Furman after spending seven seasons at Liberty University under Head Coach Ritchie McKay. His sister, Dr. Langley Pierre McClay, is the Director of Pre-College Programs, Teaching and Learning at LSU. Before joining Alabama, Pierre served as Director of Scouting & Recruiting at Elon (2019-22), Video Coordinator at Mississippi State (2018-19), and held various roles at Arkansas State.
