Papio joined the Crimson Tide staff after spending the previous seven seasons at Maryland working in various roles, including the last two as an assistant coach. Jenny Sanders, who was hired as the program's Director of Operations on Monday, July 24, 2023, will begin her third season in the same role with the Crimson Tide in 2025-26. Sanders is in the midst of her 16th year overall working in Alabama Athletics. Sanders spent the 2022-23 seasons serving as the Crimson Tide's Director of Player Development. In that role, she assisted with all aspects of the program from operations to academics. Her two-year stint in that role was highlighted by her helping Andrew Pinckney earn SEC Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year at the conclusion of the 2023 regular season. Prior to her role working directly with Crimson Tide baseball, she served as an Academic Program Advisor for UA Athletics. In that position, she oversaw all facets of academics for the Alabama baseball, women's golf, softball and men's tennis teams, providing her student-athletes with comprehensive academic counseling to help them meet their academic goals. Included in Sanders' tasks were developing support plans for first-year and at-risk student-athletes, observing progress and maintaining up-to-date records, and monitoring the continuing eligibility of the student-athletes across her respective sports. While in academics, Sanders also coordinated submissions of all NCAA and SEC awards along with scholarship opportunities.
