Elijah Burns

Biography

Elijah Burns is in his first season as a graduate assistant with University of Tulsa men’s basketball team. Burns played four years for the University of Northwestern – St. Paul basketball team. He was a team captain his senior year and averaged 10.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 45 percent from the field and 37 percent on 3-pointers. For the past three years, Burns has assisted Jeremie Hart with his basketball training in the Dallas, Fort Worth area, working with collegiate and professional basketball players. He graduated from UNW-St. Paul in May of 2025 with a degree in sports management. Burns is a Milwaukee, Wis. native who most recently lived in Midlothian, Texas before coming to Tulsa.
