Biography

Mason Wright served as a graduate assistant for Texas from 2023-25 and was elevated to Assistant Coach prior to the 2025-26 season. Wright was a men’s practice player and on the scout team for women’s basketball. He also tracked statistics, created recruiting graphics and helped with workouts among his tasks as a graduate assistant. Wright was part of the Texas team the went to the Final Four in 2025 and were SEC regular season champions. Wright came to Texas from Stephen F. Austin where he was a practice player and on the scout team for women’s basketball. Wright earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sport Business from Stephen F. Austin in May of 2023 and a Master’s in Strategic Communications from The University of Texas in 2025.
