Associate Head Coach
Chuck Jeroloman was announced as Tennessee's associate head coach on Oct. 31, 2025, after spending the previous six seasons as an assistant, recruiting coordinator and associate head coach at the University of Florida, where he helped lead the Gators to the postseason each year during his tenure, including back-to-back trips to the Men's College World Series in 2023 and 2024. "With a proven track record of connecting with and developing players at an elite level, along with years of experience in the SEC as a coach and a player, Chuck Jeroloman will instantly help elevate our program," UT head coach Josh Elander said. Widely regarded as one of the nation's top assistant coaches, Jeroloman has learned from some of college baseball's most successful head coaches during stints at TCU (2012-13) under Jim Schlossnagle and Florida (2020-25) with Kevin O'Sullivan. He was recently included on D1Baseball.com's list of 25 assistants most ready to be head coaches. Jeroloman's coaching stops also included four seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Jacksonville (2014-17), where he helped the Dolphins improve their win total each season, culminating in 2017 when they went 36-23 and won their first regular season A-SUN regular-season conference championship in 11 years. After his successful stint at JU, Jeroloman spent two seasons at South Florida (2018-19) as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, helping the Bulls to a second-place finish in The American and

Director of Sports Performance
Keegan Knoll was named the Director of Sports Performance for Tennessee baseball in November of 2025 after spending the previous eight years working in professional baseball. Knoll brings a wealth of pro ball experience with him to Knoxville, including two and a half seasons as a head strength and conditioning coach in Major League Baseball with the Chicago Cubs (2022-24). In his most recent stop before coming to Tennessee, Knoll spent the 2025 season as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Milwaukee Brewers, where he was heavily involved in the day-to-day implementation of the organization's player performance strategies. Knoll led the design and oversight of individualized rehabilitation programs for injured Brewers' players, collaborating closely with physical therapists to enhance return-to-play efficiency and performance outcomes. He also built and implemented data-driven systems that integrate player performance, health and workload metrics into daily decision-making processes. The majority of Knoll's professional baseball experience came with the Cubs' organization, where he spent seven years on staff, starting off as a minor league strength and conditioning coach for the club's minor league affiliates (2018-20) before being promoted to the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the big-league team in 2020, and ultimately, climbing the ladder to head strength and conditioning coach in 2022. While in Chicago, Knoll worked closely with former Tenn

Student Assistant Coach
Parker Serrano was designated as Tennessee’s Student Assistant Coach prior to the start of the 2024 season and is a key contributor to the daily operations of the Volunteers’ baseball program. Serrano was UT’s first-base coach during their 2024 national championship season and works closely with the catchers, assisting with player development, defensive preparation and game planning, among other duties. Serrano’s responsibilities extend well beyond the field, as he assists with daily practices, creates and manages video review for coaches and players, develops scouting reports, supports on-campus recruiting efforts and helps manage Tennessee’s baseball camps. Serrano grew up in Knoxville and was immersed in the program from a young age, serving as a bat boy during his childhood while his father, Dave Serrano, was the head coach for the Vols. Serrano starred at West High School before spending two seasons at Roane State Community College (2021–22), where he played junior college baseball and served as a team captain as a sophomore. Serrano is working towards completing his bachelor’s degree in sport management while transitioning into coaching.

Director of Recruiting
After starting his coaching career as the Volunteers’ student assistant during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Ricky Martinez returned to Knoxville to serve as the program's Director of Player Development in the summer of 2024 following one season as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at New Mexico State. Martinez now serves as the Director of Recruiting on head coach Josh Elander's staff. While at NM State, Martinez worked primarily with the team’s infielders and helped the Aggies to an 11-win increase from the year prior during his lone season in Las Cruces. Freshman infielder Steve Solorzano earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors under Martinez’s tutelage. During his two seasons as a student assistant at UT, Martinez worked closely with the infielders while also returning to school to finish his degree. During that time, the program posted 101 wins, including a program-record 57 victories in 2022, and made their second trip to Omaha in three seasons in 2023. Martinez coached four infielders who were drafted in those two years, including Trey Lipscomb, who made his MLB debut in 2024 for the Washington Nationals. Martinez spent one season as UT's starting shortstop in 2019, helping lead the Vols to their first NCAA Regional appearance since 2005. The Texas native hit .279 with 62 hits, 28 RBIs and a team-leading 18 doubles on the year and was one of the top defensive shortstops in the SEC. Martinez was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 18th round of t
