Since taking over as the skipper of the Red Raiders in 2013, Tadlock has built his alma mater into a national powerhouse, leading the Red Raiders to four College World Series (2014, 2016, 2018, 2019) and three Big 12 Championships (2016, 2017, 2019). A two-time National Coach of the Year, Tadlock was named head coach of his alma mater on June 8, 2012, becoming the ninth head coach in program history. He owns a collegiate career record of 908-403 in 22 years as a head coach with nine seasons at Grayson County College (435-127) and the last 13 at Texas Tech (473-276).
