Graduate Assistant
Brendon Park is in his first season as a graduate assistant with TCU volleyball after joining the staff in January 2025. Park comes to Funky Town after graduating from University of Texas at San Antonio in December. At UTSA, her served as a student manager and tech coordinator for the Roadrunners volleyball program. His responsibilities included coding live stats using VolleyStation, assisting in film study, and creating scouting reports on top of day-to-day practice help. With the Horned Frogs, Park will also take the lead on TCU’s advanced stats and film. Outside of NCAA Volleyball, Park also worked with Alamo Volleyball Association and Dallas Skyline Juniors Volleyball as an assistant coach. A former player himself, Park spent three years on the UTSA men’s club volleyball team, starting at libero for two years and serving as team captain for one season.

Assistant Coach
Brett Anema begins his second season as an assistant coach after joining the TCU volleyball staff in the spring of 2024. Anema finished his first season at TCU in 2024. In a record-setting year, he helped the staff guide the Frogs to 22 wins and secure TCU’s first 20-win season since 2011. For the first time ever, the program received a ranking in the AVCA poll and won a school-record 13 matches in Big 12 Play. His 2024 campaign was capped off with a third straight NCAA Tournament appearance, where the Frogs swept Hawaii in the first round. Working with defensive efforts, Anema helped lead the Frogs’ blocking efforts to rank fifth in the Big 12 in total blocks with 253.0 and 2.24 per set. His work was key as TCU posted at least 10 blocks in nine matches on the year, including a First Round sweep of Hawaii in the NCAA Tournament. Anema guided Sarah Sylvester to one of the best seasons by a middle blocker in TCU history. The junior tallied 146 rejections, the second most in the conference and fifth most in a single season in school history. Sylvester also captured two Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors in the final three weeks of the conference slate. Anema spent the last six seasons at Liberty and has been their associate head coach since 2020. He also served as the recruiting coordinator with the Lady Flames, where he brought in two of the top recruiting classes in program history. Associate Head Coach | Recruiting Coordinator
Morgan Thomas enters her fourth season with TCU volleyball in 2025, serving as the program's Associate Head Coach and recruiting coordinator. A veteran of the sport, Thomas boasts 14 years of Division I coaching experience, including 12 at the Power Four conference level. While Thomas helps train all position groups, she specializes in coaching TCU's serve receive, defense and serving. In 2024, Thomas guided the Frogs to 22 wins, tied for the fourth most in school history, and helped TCU secure its first 20-win season since 2011. It was a record-breaking year for the Frogs, who earned their first national ranking in the AVCA poll ever, went 14-1 on their home court and won a school-record 13 matches in Big 12 play. Thomas’ leadership was key in ranked wins over No. 18 Minnesota (3-2), No. 14 Baylor (3-1) and No. 23 BYU (3-2) in addition to 14 victories over AVCA top 100 teams. Her third season with the program was capped off with a third straight NCAA Tournament appearance, where it swept Hawaii in the first round. Defensively, the Frogs ranked fourth in the Big 12 with 15.65 digs per set and fifth in total blocks with 253.0. Sarah Sylvester led the way for TCU, finishing with 146 on the season, the second most in the conference and fifth most in a single season in school history.
