Former SUNY Morrisville volleyball standout Kim Dunkleman has returned to the Mustang courts for the upcoming fall 2021 season, as assistant coach of the women's program. Dunkleman returns to the green and white Mustangs after serving as assistant coach at Centre College in Kentucky, where she assisted with creating and executing drills, implementing recruiting strategies, and managing the program's social media accounts. Prior to her role at Centre, Dunkleman served as a volunteer assistant with the Mustangs program, working with head coach Fred Wallace in recruiting and preparation for practice and competition. During the 2019 season, the Mustangs claimed their third straight regular season conference title and made a third consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. Dunkleman had a storied four-year career as a student-athlete at Morrisville, where she guided the team to an 81-44 overall record as a setter. The Williamsville, New York native guided the program to its first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) title and added a second her senior season, making two appearances in the opening round of the NCAA Championship tournament. During her time on the court, the Mustangs went 36-9 on their conference slate. Across her four-year career, Dunkleman etched her name in the Mustang record books 13 times, ranking first overall in assists and second in service aces.
