Former Jackrabbit swimmer Cassie Hendricks was promoted to assistant coach in the fall of 2021 after serving two seasons as a graduate assistant for the South Dakota State men's and women's swimming teams. She also serves as the programs' recruiting coordinator. During her time competing with SDSU, she garnered all-Summit League honors in 2016 and posted top-10 times in program history in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and 50 freestyle. Before attending SDSU, the Brookings native was a South Dakota state meet champion and record holder as a member of the Brookings Swim Club. Hendricks' sisters Ellie and Jessie also competed for the Jackrabbits. Hendricks also serves as head coach of the Brookings Swim Club. She began her coaching career as a youth coach with Ad Astra Area Aquatics in Lawrence, Kansas.

Three-time Summit League champion Zach Boyd joined his alma mater's coaching staff as diving coach in the fall of 2025. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Boyd earned his first league title by winning the 1-meter diving competition at the 2020 Summit League Championships in Sioux Falls. He repeated as 1-meter champion a year later and added a 3-meter title en route to being named the 2021 Summit League Diving Championship MVP, as well as the 2020-21 Summit League Men's Diver of the Year. Boyd also qualified for NCAA Zones competition on both boards in 2020 and was a six-time Summit League Diver of the Week honoree during his career at South Dakota State.
