Nate Daligcon

Biography

After 10 seasons as an assistant coach on the Seattle U staff, Nate Daligcon was named the 10th head coach in program history prior to the 2023 season. Coach Daligcon's second season in charge was another 12-win outcome. The team finished second in the WAC regular season standings, but defeated San Jose State in the conference tournament championship to earn their second consecutive NCAA tournament berth. It is the first time in the program's DI era that they have made back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances. In his first season at the helm, he led the Redhawks to a 12-2-3 regular season that saw the team crowned the Western Athletic Conference Regular Season Champions. Seattle U went undefeated in conference play for the third time in program history and reached a national ranking of 9th, their highest in the Division I era. At the conclusion of the season Daligcon was named the conference's Coach of the Year. Seattle U led the WAC in points, goals, assists, and goals against average in 2023. James Morris was named the Offensive Player of the Year and Charlie Lanphier was named the inaugural Goalkeeper of the Year. His coaching staff was named the top staff in the Division I Far West Region, as announced by the United Soccer Coaches. In his time as an assistant coach with the program, coach Daligcon has helped guide the Redhawks to five WAC Tournament Championships and NCAA appearances.
