Head Coach

HC

Bio entering 2026 season Kylee White, a four-time member of Canadian World Cup teams, has been the SDSU head coach for the last 14 years and is the only head coach in program history. White has transformed San Diego State's fledgling program into a championship contender that won back-to-back MPSF conference titles in 2018 and 2019. During the 2024-25 season, White led the Aztecs through the inaugural Big 12 lacrosse season, playing a tough schedule where they faced four teams that were nationally ranked or receiving votes. San Diego State opened the season 4-0 for the first time since 2014 after earning four straight road wins. White guided her freshmen to successful debut campaigns in which two of them etched their names into the record book, including Bella Tan who led the team in goals with 46 on the season, and Keira Doyle-Odenbach who dominated in draw controls and ground balls, recording 54 and 32 respectively. In 2024, White was also an assistant coach for the U20 Canadian National Team, which won silver in the 2024 World Championships. Additionally, White is currently the head coach of the U17 Canada West Development Team. In 2022 while playing six teams that were ranked or receiving votes, the Aztecs went 7-8 and 5-5 away from San Diego, which tied a program record. Individually, Deanna Balsama set a school record for most points (73) and goals (62) in a season and became the first Aztec to be named the IWLCA All-Region Team. She finished fifth in the nation in goal

In 2022, Padilla oversaw Deanna Balsama, who set school records for most points (73) and goals (62) in her first season on The Mesa and became the first Aztec to be named the IWLCA All-Region Team. Individually, Padilla was instrumental in the emergence of Harlowe Steele (38) and Jill Haight (37), who earned all-MPSF honors after becoming the first SDSU duo to score more than 35 goals apiece.
