Head Coach - Women's Lacrosse
Former Hawk Amanda Magee '10 comes back to Bristol after spending the past seven years as the inaugural coach of the women's lacrosse program at NAIA-member Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. Building the program from scratch, Magee quickly established Benedictine as one of the premier programs at the NAIA level. During her tenure, Magee compiled an overall record of 67-15 and was named Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times while her Benedictine squad won four Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference championships. Under her tutelage, she has coached 30 All-KCAC players and seven NAIA All-Americans, including Natalie Wechter, the 2020 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Player of the Year. Under Magee, Benedictine earned three bids to the NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Invitational as well as the first-ever NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Tournament in 2021. In 2019, the Ravens finished the year as NAIA National Invitational Runner-Up while achieving an NAIA national ranking high of #2 in the nation, the program's highest-ever national ranking. In addition to her coaching duties at Benedictine, Magee also served as head coach for two Kansas City club programs, Fountain City Lacrosse Club and Midwestern Force Lacrosse Club. Prior to her post at Benedictine, Magee served as an assistant coach for three seasons at fellow CCC in-state institution Salve Regina University, where she helped the Seahawks to a pair of CCC Tournament berths.
