Rochester Institute of Technology Men's Cross Country

Dave Warth enters his 29th year as the head coach of the cross country and track & field programs in 2025-26. Warth brings a strong background in track & field to the Tigers program. The 1989 Notre Dame graduate ran cross country and track all four years for the Irish. Warth served as the head track and field coach at nearby McQuaid Jesuit High School (1990-96) and continued to coach indoor track (1996-98). During that span, his teams won two Section V indoor titles and three outdoor titles. A 1985 McQuaid graduate, Warth set five indoor track records and one outdoor track record. He was also a member of the 1984 New York State Class A Champion Knights. Under Warth's leadership, RIT's cross country and track & field programs have achieved numerous NCAA Championships appearances, All-American honors, and Liberty League titles. His teams have also earned consistent USTFCCCA All-Academic recognition, with the men's team earning the honor for the 12th time in 13 years and the women for nine straight seasons. Warth has been named Liberty League Coach of the Year multiple times and was named Empire 8 Coach of the Year in all four sports in 2006-07.
