Cory Crooks finished his third season in Corvallis as a part of the coaching staff, helping lead the Beavers to their second Pac-12 title in three seasons, the 23rd and 25th in program history. During the season, three student-athletes - Maximo Renteria (125), Nash Singleton (141) and TJ McDonnell (184) - ran the table and won individual conference titles and advanced to their first NCAA Championships in Philadelphia. Trey Munoz (184) capped the 2023-24 season with his third-place finish at the 2024 NCAAs after his individual Pac-12 championship. It not only was Munoz's second consecutive top-six finish but also marked the second student-athlete in the Pendleton era to finish top-four at the NCAAs. Gill Coliseum saw a wrestling-crowd record (8,540) against top-ranked Penn State to open the home slate for 2024-25. A former student-athlete for the Beavers, Crooks transferred from Arizona State for the 2021-22 season an NCAA Tournament appearance. In his lone season at OSU, he went 17-11 at 149 lbs. and went 2-2 in Detroit. At the Pac-12 Championships, he finished third behind a 3-1 record as the fourth seed. Prior to joining the Beavers, Crooks competed for fellow Pac-12 foe, Arizona State. In his final season in Tempe, he earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament following a third place finish at the Pac-12 Championships and a personal-best nine wins in the regular season. Following a decorated career with Clackamas Community College, Josh Rhoden continued his winning ways after three seasons on staff at Oregon State. He was elevated to associate head coach ahead of the 2024-25 season. Oregon State is coming off the 2025 Pac-12 Championship, the second in three seasons. Director of Operations
Kate Gillett is entering her second season with the Oregon State wrestling program as the team's director of operations. The 2024-25 season included the Pac-12 Championship, the 25th in program history, and saw three win individual conference titles on their way to their first bids to the NCAA Championships. Gillett's responsibilities include assisting with the day-to-day operations of the program, student-athlete needs, recruiting operations, as well as with travel to all matches, from planes to buses to meals and the annual summer camps. No stranger to the program, Gillett served on the Beaver Wrestling Committee and Takedown Team, where she helped plan and host tailgates as well as alumni and social events. She joins the program from leading the operations behind Keller Williams Realty in Corvallis where she also oversaw the financial and project management for the firm. Prior to her time with Keller Williams, she led Wolfpack Athletics, a local competitive cheer gym in Corvallis as the Program Director and Owner. Gillett oversaw staff recruiting, travel coordination and operations management. Gillett is an alumna of Austin Peay State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in Health and Human Performance.
