Old Dominion University Men's Sailing

Tyler Colvin begins his seventh season as an assistant coach at Old Dominion University. Colvin helped lead the Sailing team to the College Sailing Open Eastern Semifinals and the College Sailing Western Semifinals in 2023. Colvin was a Junior Sailing Program Director at Encinal Yacht Club in Alameda, California, as well as an Assistant Coach at Boston College. During his tenure at Boston College, the Eagles finished as high as 2nd at Coed, Women’s and Team Race National Championships. Colvin sailed throughout high school and college; dinghies, one design, and handicap. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Engineering from UNH and has completed Masters work at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering, specializing in wastewater and drinking water treatment.
