Adam St. Pierre is in his fourth season as head coach of the Montana State Nordic program. During his time on the University hill, St. Pierre helped the Bobcats to a fifth place finish at the 2021 NCAA Skiing Championships in New Hampshire; a nine place showing at the 2022 NCAAs in Park City, and a sixth place finish last winter in Lake Placid, N.Y. Roger Bay
Roger Bay

Assistant Alpine Coach

Roger W. Bay, MSU Assistant Alpine Coach for MSU Athletic Department. Started in the Fall of 2023. This is my third year coaching Alpine ski racing for MSU. It is my 40th year as an Alpine Ski Racing Coach. I worked half of my career with the Bridger Ski Foundation (off and on since '84), 1/3 of my career with the US Ski Team ('98-2005 & 2011), worked 4 years for the Park City Ski team in Utah ('89-'92) and 1 year with Team Gilboa in Minneapolis ('96). I am currently on the National Alpine Coaches Education Faculty. My duties are to assist the Head Alpine coach with training, coaching, video and travel to and from training and racing. Our Alpine team is scored together with the Nordic Team. Our mission is to win the NCAA Championships. I graduated from MSU in '85 with a degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. I ski raced for the Bobcats for two years '81-'82. It was fun to watch the Bobcat Football team win NCAA Champs in '84 when I was a student and again this year as athletic staff! I am very lucky to be using my degree and doing what I love: Coaching Alpine ski racing and helping student athletes reach their full potential. Go Cats!
