Biography

Dylan Harvala, a Montana State alum and Montana native from Missoula, brought his passion for excellence in his return to Montana State as a volunteer assistant coach in August 2023. With a foundation built during his time as an MSU player and a bachelor’s degree with honors in Exercise Science, Harvala quickly impacted the program. In his first season, he helped guide the team to significant wins over Idaho and the University of Montana, helping multiple athletes earn all-conference accolades. Under his leadership, Max Relic and Andras Necz qualified for the ITA Fall National Doubles Championships, a program milestone for the Bobcats. Harvala emphasizes his commitment to fostering a culture of success that resonates with the MSU community. "As a former Bobcat and a Montana native, I know how much the success of our team means to our community," he shares. "My goal here at MSU is to develop a winning culture and a standard of excellence that lasts well into the future." The former Bobcat men's tennis letterwinner played for the Cats from 2014-17.
