He previously served as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Cornell University from August 2019 through November 2021. Overmann was a Staff Assistant for the Michigan State Athletic Communications office during the 2018-19 academic year. At Cornell, Overmann was the primary media contact for wrestling, men's soccer, softball, men's and women's tennis, fencing, women's rowing and men's lightweight and heavyweight rowing. As a staff assistant at Michigan State, Overmann was the primary contact for wrestling, field hockey, men's tennis and women's rowing. Overmann covered Michigan State wrestling during a resurgent season in which the Spartans finished 10-8 in duals and placed its first All-American at the NCAA Wrestling Championships since 2014 (Rayvon Foley, 125 pounds). He also assisted with the media relations efforts of the women's basketball program as the secondary contact. During his tenure, Flynn has mentored multiple Academic All-Conference, All-American, and valedictorian student-athletes, and his teams have seen double digit cumulative grade point average increases. As the Facility Manager of the Clara Bell Smith Student-Athlete Academic Center, Flynn oversees the scheduling, maintenance, and special projects of the 31,000 square foot building. He is also an active member of various organizations including the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A). He currently serves on the N4A Board of Directors as a Division Director of Membership Services, received N4A Individual Certification in 2011, and graduated from the N4A Professional Development Institute in 2006. Flynn earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Taylor University in 2000 where he was a four-year varsity letter winner on the football team and four-year member of the chamber orchestra. Within this role, Molli oversaw the daily operations of the Jenison weight room and lead a staff of seven strength coaches. Combined, her staff worked with 17 of Michigan State’s 21 varsity programs. In May 2020, Munz was named a “Master Strength & Conditioning Coach” by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Associated (CSCCa), the highest honor given in the strength and conditioning coaching profession. She is also a certified strength and conditioning coach (SCCC) by the CSCCa and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Along with the certifications listed above Molli also has obtained the following certifications: Reflexive Performance Reset Level 1 and Level 2, On-Base University Pitching Certification, Functional Range Conditioning and Functional Range Assessment.
