Juan Moreno is in his 11th year working at Michigan State as an equipment manager. Moreno spent five seasons (2015-19) with the football program, including serving as the head football equipment manager in 2019, before returning to work with teams in Jenison Field House in 2020. Moreno, who has been an equipment manager at MSU since 2010, primarily worked with the baseball, field hockey and volleyball teams before moving to football. Before arriving at Michigan State, Moreno was an equipment manager at Georgetown University, and also held intern positions with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Green Bay Packers. Moreno graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish in 2008. He is married to Sarah Moreno, who is from Appleton, Wisconsin. They have a 3-year-old daughter, Mila.

Waas graduated from Temple University in 2019 with a Doctorate in Athletic Training and Teaching in Higher Education Certification. Waas received an M.S. in Sports Administration from St. Cloud State University in 2017. Waas graduated from Canisius College in 2014 with a B.S. in Athletic Training and a minor in Health and Human Performance. Waas serves as the Athletic Trainer for the baseball team at Michigan State. Before coming to Michigan State in February 2023, Waas served in similar roles at St. Bonaventure, UMass Lowell and St. Cloud State University.

Melissa Tallant is in her 17th year at SASS as an Associate Director and Academic Coordinator for baseball, ice hockey, women's golf, softball and liaison for former student-athletes. All of her sports have shown improvement in team GPAs, with women's golf maintaining the top team GPA for all MSU sports for the past six years at 3.56. She coordinates the George Webster Memorial Scholarship for former student-athletes and has taught KIN 171 Athletics in Higher Education for sixteen years. Tallant designs the Student-Athlete Handbook and Planner and coordinated SASS rebranding in 2015. She manages education abroad programs including partnerships with Australian institutions and Northumbria University in England. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Akron and a master's degree in Athletic Counseling from Springfield College. A Cleveland native, she has previously worked at the University of Illinois, Cleveland State University, Texas State University, and NACDA.

Coach Munz is in her 16th year as a full-time strength coach at MSU, is in her 2nd year as the Director of Sport Science for Olympic Sports. In addition to her duties with Sport Science, Munz currently directs the yearly training program for the MSU field hockey and baseball teams Prior to her current role, Munz was the Director of Athletic Performance for the Olympic sports for three years. Within this role, Molli oversaw the daily operations of the Jenison weight room and lead a staff of seven strength coaches. Combined, her staff worked with 17 of Michigan State’s 21 varsity programs. In May 2020, Munz was named a “Master Strength & Conditioning Coach” by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Associated (CSCCa), the highest honor given in the strength and conditioning coaching profession. She is also a certified strength and conditioning coach (SCCC) by the CSCCa and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Along with the certifications listed above Molli also has obtained the following certifications: Reflexive Performance Reset Level 1 and Level 2, On-Base University Pitching Certification, Functional Range Conditioning and Functional Range Assessment. In 2002, Munz began her strength and conditioning career as a graduate assistant for Michigan State University and in 2008 she returned as a full-time assistant.
