Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Lindsay Newman enters her 3rd season as the head women's lacrosse coach at Lewis & Clark College in the spring of 2026. Newman started the women's lacrosse program at Lewis & Clark, which played their first varsity season in the spring of 2024. She had an inaugural recruiting class of 13 student-athletes that played 13 regular-season games and earned the program's first-ever win in the final game of the season, a 14-13 victory over the University of Puget Sound on the road, on Apr. 17, 2024. In the program's first season as a member of the Northwest Conference, Lewis & Clark finished in a three-way tie for fourth place with a 4-4 record and missed out on the NWC postseason tournament due to a tiebreaker. The team finished with an 11-6 mark overall, winning their first three games of the season. Six players earned All-NWC honors, eight were named NWC Scholar-Athletes, three earned CSC Academic All-District and Kate Meinhard was named to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll.
