Len Ferrari

Biography

Coach Ferrari enters his second season as the Pitching Coach for the Lasell Lasers, bringing with him 14 years of college coaching experience. Ferrari’s extensive coaching career includes successful tenures at Framingham State University, Newbury College, and Salem State University. In his first year under the direction of Coach Ferrari, the Lasell pitching staff ranked among the national leaders in Division III, finishing 5th in the country in walks allowed per nine innings, 8th in strikeout-to-walk ratio, 29th in WHIP, and 54th in ERA. That success included Matthew Fletcher being named a 2025 Second Team All-Conference Starting Pitcher. At Framingham State University (2019–2024), Coach Ferrari made significant contributions as the pitching staff's primary mentor and recruiter. His efforts were instrumental in leading the team to its first-ever Regular Season Title. During his five years with the program, Ferrari helped develop a roster featuring 25 All-Conference players and six All-Region players. His impact extended beyond the field, as he played a key role in recruiting, fundraising, and enhancing the team's culture. Under his guidance, Framingham State saw the emergence of one Pitcher of the Year and two Rookie Pitchers of the Year.
