King's College Field Hockey

Kirby Szalkowski was appointed as Head Field Hockey Coach at King's College in April 2025. She comes to King's with extensive coaching experience, most recently serving as Assistant Coach at Susquehanna University (2021-25), where she helped lead the program to Landmark Championship titles in 2023 and 2024 with two NCAA Division III Championships appearances and was a member of a three-time Coaching Staff of the Year. Prior to Susquehanna, she held assistant coaching positions at Dallas High School, Holy Redeemer High School, and Wyoming Area School District, and served as club coach for multiple field hockey clubs. Szalkowski is a 2016 graduate of Lafayette College with a degree in psychology and minor in art, where she competed for the Division I Leopards from 2012-15, appearing in 68 games with 54 starts and 14 assists. She was a member of the USA Women's National Indoor Field Hockey team (2011-13), a USA High Performance Selection (2014-15), and a USA U21 National Camp attendee (2014). She holds both USAFH Level 2 Coach Certification and USAFH Outdoor and Indoor Field Hockey Umpire Certification.

Caitlin Wood was added to the King's College field hockey coaching staff ahead of the 2023 season and completed her second season on the coaching staff in 2024. Wood is involved with recruiting as well as on-field responsibilities. She is a native of Plains, Pa. and a 2018 graduate of King's College with a bachelor's degree in early childhood and special education. Wood competed in field hockey for the Monarchs in 2015 and 2016, earning All-MAC Freedom Second Team honors in 2015 and helping lead the Monarchs to the 2016 MAC Freedom title and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. She is a certified PIAA field hockey official. Previously, Wood served as an Assistant Coach for Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse at Keystone College in 2019.

Megan Withrow completed her eighth season as an assistant coach with the King's field hockey team in 2024 and serves as the goalie coach. Wernersville, Pa.
