Alejandro Perazzo

Biography

Alejandro Perazzo joined the Kent State men’s golf program as an assistant coach in September 2024. In Perazzo's first season with the Flashes, the team won the 2025 MAC Championship, improving the program's tally to 29 MAC titles. Reigning MAC Golfer of the Year Jordan Gilkison and MAC Freshman of the Year Isaiah Ibit were each named to the All-MAC First Team, while Bryce Reed earned All-MAC Second Team honors. The Flashes were selected for the Amherst NCAA Regional, where the team made its 31st NCAA Regional appearance in program history. Perazzo’s professional career, spanning from 2019-21, includes various mini-tour events as well as qualification events for the PGA TOUR Americas. Collegiately, Perazzo competed for South Dakota State University from 2015-19, where he was part of Summit League championship teams in 2016 and 2017. In addition, Perazzo boasts an impressive junior career including victories at the 2012 South American Junior Individual and the 2013 and 2014 Venezuela National Junior Golf Championships. After his playing career, Perazzo served as an outside operations professional at the Golfzon Leadbetter Academy in 2022 before transitioning to a junior golf coach in 2023.
