Anthony Fortier

Biography

Anthony Fortier joined Florida Atlantic as Head Football Equipment Manager in January 2024. Previously, he served as Associate Director of Equipment Operations at the University of Miami (August 2023), focusing on football and assisting with administrative and maintenance tasks. At UTSA, he was Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment Operations and Head Football Equipment Manager, overseeing budgeting, management, and issuance of athletic equipment for 14 Division I teams. Prior to that, he was Director of Equipment Operations at the University of Tulsa, promoted from Assistant Director, where he oversaw equipment operations for 15 Division I teams. The Palm City, Florida native is a Florida Atlantic graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Minor in History (2016), and holds a master's degree in history from the University of Tulsa (2019). He is a Certified Athletic Equipment Manager and received a certificate in the Fundamentals of Global Sports Management from New York University (2020).
