Josh Routte

Biography

Josh Routte joined the Davidson women's soccer program as an assistant coach in late February, 2024. Routte came to Davidson after spending the previous three seasons a Division I and Horizon League member Purdue Fort Wayne. Routte most recently served as the assistant and goalkeepers coach for both the men's and women's programs at Purdue University Fort Wayne. During his stint with Purdue Fort Wayne, Routte also served as the Staff Coach and Director of Goalkeeping for Fort Wayne Sport Club as well as the ODP Staff and Goalkeeper Coach at the Indiana Soccer Association. Routte also spent about two years with Manchester University as an assistant women's soccer coach as well as three months as an interim head coach of the program. As a player at Muskingum University, Routte was a captain and starter while earning his bachelor's degree in Sports Administration while minoring in Business Management and Coaching.
